Remote Hub Experiment Application
Complete and submit this application to express interest in participating in a test of a new feature for remote participation in IETF meetings called “Remote Rooms” during the IETF 125 Shenzhen meeting (16-20 March 2026). This feature intends to provide an experience very close to an onsite overflow room. A single site (“Remote Hub”) may offer one or multiple Remote Rooms.
For this initial trial, a limited number of Remote Hub locations will be selected. Close coordination with Remote Hub organizers will be required before and during the IETF meeting to work out various technical aspects and operational details, and to understand and document the requirements and experience of Remote Hub organizers. For example, pre-event testing and participation in a post-meeting survey is required.
All fields must be completed to submit the form.
After completing the form below, applicants will be contacted to confirm interest and, possibly, to provide additional information. Initial Remote Hub site selection is expected as early as the week of 2 February. Final selections are expected the week of 23 February.
